A favorite pet project of mine, History of the Sixties on Film began as an independent study while working on my master's degree. I found this endeavor so intriguing and promising I made it the main subject of my thesis or capstone project.

History of the Sixties on Film covers four major "movements" that began or came to a head in the 1960s: the civil rights movement, the movement into outer space, the movement into, and out of, the war in Vietnam, and the countercultural movement.
This course also takes a quick look back at the Fifties to see the various forces and events that led to the Sixties.
