Importantly, availability of bachelor's level courses depends on interest level and growth rate of the pilot project.

Courses at Manitou Movie School are not divided according to traditional disciplinary subjects. Courses are instead divided according to nondisciplinary, interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary, transdisciplinary, and cannabis community areas of focus.

Descriptions of these course categories follows.
CCBS = Cannabis Community Baccalaureate Studies

Courses promoting cannabis education, understanding, research, and connection amongst the local community and beyond. While movies may be included, courses with this prefix are not movie-based. Participants are encouraged to apply learning to their daily professions, pursuits, and passions.

NDBS = NonDisciplinary Baccalaureate Studies

Exclusively movie and discussion-based, these courses have no particular academic or disciplinary focus. Courses with this prefix are highly open and exploratory in nature and content. Learners are expected to explore, discover, and develop their own interests and passions in these courses. They are also required to practice reflective journaling and encouraged to connect course insights and findings with everyday interests/pursuits.

IDBS = InterDisciplinary Baccalaureate Studies

Highly movie-based, these courses focus on at least two disciplinary areas, typically one determined by the instructor-facilitator, and the other determined by the learner. Learners are free to pursue their own interests and talents through individually-determined project-based outcomes, in which they may work solo or in groups of various sizes.
MDBS = MultiDisciplinary Baccalaureate Studies

Utilizing moderate to zero amount of movie-based instruction, these courses are project-based and have each learner pursue and apply their own unique interests and skills in a setting that requires teamwork, application of many disciplines and subjects, and co-creative effort to realize a final tangible product.

TDBS = TransDisciplinary Baccalaureate Studies

Using a moderate amount of movie-based instruction, these courses are the most advanced and demanding in terms of multi-disciplinary exploration and understanding beyond conventional divisions of subject areas. Personal reflection, journaling, class discussion, and individualized application of learning outside the classroom is required.
